Discover What’s Cookin’

Let’s be honest. We all love good food and drink, and meal time in Stillwater is a great time to try new tastes and culinary delights. While visiting Stillwater, enjoy educational cooking classes and foodie tours.

Sit outdoors at cafes or rooftops with river views or get up close at the chef’s table.  In wintertime cozy up during a candlelight dinner for two or find the table near a warm fireplace. With over 30 locally owned and operated restaurants you find many choices on where to eat, so visit our Restaurant Guide to search by your favorite fare or atmosphere. Ahh, and don’t forget, Stillwater has a variety of ice cream and homemade candy shops or specialty shops (olive oil, gourmet cheese, spices, cookware, etc) for those who love to cook or sample sweet treats. Check out our events calendar for classes and culinary events such as themed dinners, wine-pairings, apple harvest, or festivals.

Step on board a Paddlewheel River Boat to enjoy a lunch or dinner cruise on the St. Croix river. Many cruises also showcase entertainment. Speaking of nightlife, foodies who like to capture the local flavor of breweries and wineries will be delighted to know that we have two breweries, a winery, a vineyard, and plenty of pubs on Main Street to explore.
