Check out our events calendar for classes and culinary events such as themed dinners, wine-pairings, apple harvest, or festivals. Step on board a Paddlewheel River Boat to enjoy a lunch or dinner cruise on the St. Croix river. Many cruises also showcase entertainment. Speaking of nightlife, foodies who like to capture the local flavor of breweries and wineries will be delighted to know that we have two breweries, three wineries nearby, two distilleries and plenty of pubs on Main Street to explore. Take in the seasonal harvest of local apples, pumpkins, or blueberries, too!

Since 1948, three generations of the Aamodt family have been producing some of the best apples to be found in the valley. You’re invited to come and experience the good life in the fall season on this picturesque farm located just minutes from downtown. Fun activities like hay wagon rides, honeycrisp Express, and John Deere tractor trikes. Also on site –Thor’s Cider tastings and Saint Croix Vineyards.

Pick your own delicious blueberries in our family friendly, peaceful setting with picnic areas. We are transitioning to organic production, using composted poultry manure, fish emulsions, and mulch, which feed our bushes, soil, and create our nutrient-rich blueberries. Love to cook? For years, Cooks of Crocus Hill has been leading students in cooking education from the basic techniques to celebrity chef visits and restaurant classes. Our gourmet kitchen is set inside our retail store in a beautiful historic Stillwater building that is rich in history.
