Stillwater Hosts Ladies Night Out Thursday, Aug 19, 5-8 pm
Steppin’ Out Theme Promises Dancing, Entertainment and Prizes
(Stillwater, MN, July 21, 2010) Stillwater will host a Ladies Night Out on Thursday, August 19 from 5-8 pm. The theme for the evening will be Steppin’ Out – Dance Divas and Stillwater’s Main Street will be bustling with outdoor entertainment, food and drink specials and opportunities to dance the night away in the streets and shops of Stillwater.
The first 50 ladies who register at Alfresco Casual Living, 321 South Main Street, will receive a swag bag of coupons, treats and bead necklaces, which qualify women for the grand finale prize drawings. Additional necklaces will be given away at area merchants with a minimum purchase. Dance demos and lessons will be held along Main Street at the Brick Alley Building, Belle Ballet and Savories Bistro. Other activities include a Fall Fashion Hair and Makeup Show at Purefex Salon, a Strolling Fashion Show at Main Stream Boutique and a Pajama Fashion Show at Alfresco Casual Living.
Ladies can also take advantage of free massages, in-store specials, discounts, prize drawings, food and beverage tastings and lodging specials. The new Peddle Cab is also available to give rides around town. Women are encouraged to dress in their favorite dancing duds, whether they choose glitz and glamour, disco or beach party casual. Plans are underway to stage a dance line along Main Street and a dance costume contest with prizes. The evening wraps up at Savories Bistro, 108 Main Street North, where prize drawings will be held, including a $100 Gift Certificate to area merchants.
Stillwater Ladies Night Out is sponsored by the Main Street Stillwater Independent Business Alliance and the Stillwater Convention and Visitors Bureau. This marks the third of four Ladies Nights celebrations planned for the year. The last Ladies Night takes place November 18.
