Stillwater Hosts Ladies Night Out Thursday, February 24, 5-8 pm
“Minute to Win It” Night Includes Contests, Entertainment and Prizes
(Stillwater, MN) Stillwater will host a Ladies Night Out on Thursday, February 24th from 5-8 pm. The theme for the evening will be “Minute to Win It” and competition along Stillwater’s Main Street with be lighthearted as contestants perform silly stunts in sixty seconds, similar to those seen on the popular NBC television game show. Some of the zany games planned by area merchants include Nose Dive & This Blows (ball attached to a string from mouth to nose) at Purefex, Sticky Marbles (roll marbles across table on to double stick tape) at Alfresco Casual Living, A Bit Dicey (balance dice on popsicle stick held in your teeth) at Savories and Baby Rattle (shake gumballs from one bottle to another) at Trade Winds Spice Company.
Contest winners will receive a necklace, which will allow them to enter a prize drawing including a Grand Prize of a $100 Gift Certificate redeemable at Stillwater area merchants. Shops will also offer discounts as well as drink specials, appetizers and food samples throughout the evening. Other special activities include a Lonnie Loveness Trunk Show at Alfresco Casual Living and Botox services at Alesci Furniture.
The first 50 ladies to arrive at Lost Treasures will receive a Swag Bag of gifts and a necklace which qualifies them for a drawing. The next 50 ladies will receive a necklace only. Additional necklaces may be awarded by making purchases or winning contests throughout the evening. Ladies may pick up their first set of beads and a brochure of activities and offerings at Lost Treasures, located at 221 East Chestnut. Prize drawings will take place at 8 pm at Northern Vineyards, 223 Main Street North.
February 24h marks the first of four Ladies Nights celebrations planned for the year. The other dates are May 12, September 15 and November 10.
